Type II Timing

Type II Timing

Type II timing features a modified drill bushing timing pocket, which engages with a physical feature in the metal belt.  Attachments from simple screw machine parts to complex tooling nests for automated assembly can be attached to the belt, and used as the timing element.

As with Type I timing assemblies, round and involute geometries are used to insure smooth engagement and disengagement of the belt on the pulley.
