Pulley Axis Adjustment

Pulley axis adjustment introduces controlled stresses and forces used to steer the belt on the pulley face.  With steel belts, axis adjustment becomes a necessary component of machine design in order to compensate for camber. Belt steering is most responsive to pulley axis adjustment that pivots through the center of the pulley width.  An effective method of dealing with pulley axis adjustment is using the Independently Steerable Pulley.
